The game has the town act as a hub between chapters. The game has dubbed cutscenes, with options for English and Japanese. Only the second and third games have online modes, with the third one being a lot more robust with ranked modes.Įach of the game's story modes chronicle a different part of Naruto's story. The ninja dodges do use a bit of the chakra as well. The more powerful ones will trigger a cutscene with inputs to increase/reduce damage depending on who does them first.
Filling up the chakra bar will allow the character perform special strong moves.
Each character has their own jutsu that lets them play differently. There are also limited use items that can be used with the D-pad for various effects.
The fights are only between 2 players, but they can have up to two supports each that can come in to deal damage. The game is a 3D arena fighter with the player able to play as characters from the Naruto series.
